| Mitchell
was born in London, England. At age 15 he had already
established himself as a studio session drummer in Nashville.
Mitchell's first major exposure was as the drummer for
blues legend: John Lee Hooker.
His determination and persistence finally paid off resulting
in a three album record deal with CBS Records with his
band Hellfield:

His first album contained two hit songs that were released
in Europe; as well as a single in England.
When an import copy found its way to an American radio
station chain demand was so overwhelming that CBS Canada
issued a U.S. release that was met with great success.
Major
tours followed: Hellfield was the opening act for the
Cars at Maple Leaf Gardens in Toronto. |

During
this very creative period Mitchell had also
added song writing and singing to his growing
list of musical talents which included a twelve
string guitar and keyboards.
Mitchell
then relocated to Los Angeles to focus on song
writing and recording new songs in his home
studio.
Mitchell
composed the theme song to the movie "Taxi
to L.A."
He
also hosted and produced his own T.V. show "Night
Music"
